Permission to let go... granted!

There are almost 0 opportunities in the everyday to make those kind of sounds and I can promise you it is so f***ing liberating!

One of my favourite parts about the Breathwork practice I share is the space to laugh and shout. We get the benefits of laughter whether we’re doing it on purpose or whether it’s spontaneous. We start off with a goofy, purposeful laugh and it only takes one person to set everybody off with real laughter.

'It’s like shaking up a soda bottle. As we awaken the energy we start to feel the tingling and buzzing and as we laugh we start to release it through our throat… Tapping into freedom and the power of self expression'

I also invite you to put your cushion over your face and to make some sound… This can be anything you want. Imagine going down to the bottom of your garden at the end of the day, hands on knees and screaming into the ether… (Without worrying about your mental health.. or worrying that somebody else might!) That’s the invitation.

What’s rising in you? Maybe it’s a roar, a howl or a gah! Imagine freeing it from that space in your throat and releasing it…

There are almost 0 opportunities in the everyday to make those kind of sounds and I can promise you it is so f***ing liberating!

People have said that is the first time that they’ve shouted/screamed/roared in decades… In fact some people say they’ve never done it before and how good it feels.

'I like to imagine that we have a scale of self expression - a range goes from say, 0 To 100 and that we, most of us operate somewhere in the region of between 30-60.. Some of us even less. It depends on the life that you leave the job that you do the family that you were born into and maybe the relationship that you are in.'

This practice is an invitation to experience and take up space, exploring your full and expressed emotional range, with sound and laughter.. Not forgetting music of course of which I put together a unique playlist for every session.

The benefits are that in normal life after the session, you find yourself feeling more comfortable with your emotions, happy to release them and feel them and leave feeling like a lighter and more self expressed version of you.
